Over at reddit, user mauxfaux subbmitted a poem that his father wrote regarding the crazy idea of burning the Koran for 9/11. His father served 26 years in the Armed Services as part of Strategic Air Command.

Over at Facebook I asked friends to drop me a haiku. The topic: ‘The King of Pop’. Only two came back, but there were real good. Enjoy.
My mum asked me last minute to write a poem for some health summit ‘something’ in the Bahamas. You really can’t tell your mother no, and plus, I’m not one to back down from the stage. I wrote several pages, but things weren’t flowing quite right. After several edits, I ran it by my brother Miriosh. Then he said the one phrase, “You know health is wealth.” That’s when the muse started speaking to me. I sat down and wrote a whole new piece. Here you go.
